Apple Stock News: AppleCare

Apple Stock News: Starting August 4, AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss will become available for iPad and Apple Watch in Australia, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom (it was previously only available for iPhone). The plan covers up to two incidents within 12 months subject to a service fee. It also includes standard benefits such as accidental damage repair and 24/7 priority tech support. For example, in the UK, protection for an iPhone costs £11.99 per month or £239 upfront, with a £109 fee per loss incident.
Smart Glasses

Apple plans to unveil its first smart glasses at WWDC in June 2027. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company is focusing on privacy by developing new hardware and software data protection features not found in competitors like Meta Ray-Bans.
Although Apple has tested prototypes without cameras or with cameras solely for AI (without photo and video recording), the most likely outcome includes cameras with strict anti-spyware protections. Like Meta’s devices, the glasses will feature speakers, microphones, and Siri voice assistant for music, calls, and notifications. Sales are expected to begin in late 2027.
Apple Watch

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 will receive only minor updates this year.
The Touch ID scanner (which would have constituted a major design change) and a band with an embedded health sensor are not expected. The new models will retain the current design of the Series 11 and Ultra 3. Key improvements will include performance gains from the S11 chip and unspecified upgrades to health and fitness tracking. The SE 4 model is also not launching. More significant changes are postponed for another year or two, while a blood sugar monitoring feature is in development with a target release by 2030.
