Apple Stocks News: Apple’s suppliers are manufacturing new iPads

Apple’s suppliers have started manufacturing new iPads in order to boost sales of the tablet. The production of a 9.7-inch screen iPad has already started, as well as the production of a new version of the 7.9-inch iPad mini. These two new models will probably be available before the end of the year.

Apple is looking for a way to boost declining iPad sales that have been going down for two straight quarters. Apple’s fiscal third quarter that ended on June 28th saw iPad sales slip to 13.3 million units. Bigger screens could turn things around as consumers seem to prefer large-screened tablets: according to a Forrester Research study, 40 percent of mobile gadgets based on Android operating system that were sold in 2014 in China had display sizes of more than 5 inches..
