Apple Stock News: Product Roadmap, Larger iMac, Interest-Free Financing

Apple Stock News: Apple Product Roadmap 2023–24

Apple Stock News: Apple is developing multiple new devices set to release from late 2023 to early 2024. These include two Apple Watch Series 9 models, a second-generation Apple Watch Ultra, the iPhone 15 lineup, updated Mac models, two MacBook Air models, new iMac models, an updated iPad Air, two iPad Pro models with OLED displays, third-generation AirPods Pro, a refreshed Apple TV, and other home equipment. However, the new generation of Apple’s Vision Pro headset is expected to arrive in 2025.

iMac With Over 30-Inch Display

Apple is working on a new iMac with a display larger than 30 inches, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. However, it’s still in early development and may take a year or two to be released. Apple is also exploring a 30+ inch iMac, but no further details are available. Currently, only a 24-inch iMac is offered, as the larger models have been discontinued. The 24-inch iMac is powered by the M1 chip and may be updated with the upcoming M3 chip for improved performance. A second-generation Apple Watch Ultra is expected to launch later this year, following a possible annual update pattern.

No Longer Interest-Free Financing in Canada

Apple recently discontinued interest-free financing for new iPhone, iPad, and Mac purchases in Canada. Customers can now finance these products over 12 or 24 monthly payments with APRs ranging from 4.99% to 7.99%. Apple’s financing partner PayBright was acquired by Affirm in 2021, and financing is now provided by Affirm. Unfortunately, many of Apple’s financing options available in the U.S., such as Apple Card Monthly Installments and the iPhone Upgrade Program, are not available in Canada, leaving customers with limited options.
