When Apple reveals its long awaited smart watch later this year, the biggest question on everyone’s minds will be how much it costs. According to the investment firm Piper Jaffray, 31% of interested consumers would be willing to pay somewhere between $100-$200 for the iWatch. However, this statistic may be slightly skewed, as the average household income of respondents was $130,000. The general population’s willingness to pay for such a device is most likely even lower. It’s hard to imagine a company known for its premium pricing would market the iWatch for anything less than $200, but until more concrete details are released, most of this talk remains speculative.
