Development of Apple’s foldable iPhone is progressing as planned, and the device is expected to launch in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models, according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. He stated that reports of a delay until 2027 are inaccurate. Gurman noted that Apple’s plans could still change, and mass production has not yet begun — the device is currently in the engineering verification phase. Due to the complex display design, initial supply may be limited. Dummy models of the foldable iPhone have already appeared, and more rumors and leaks are expected up until the launch.

The laptop is expected to use a “binned” version of the chip with a 5-core GPU, similar to the current model.
