Apple Stock News: Apple is developing a water-resistant version of the iPad mini with protection similar to the iPhone, enabling its use in wet environments. A new audio system based on vibration technology eliminates speaker holes, minimizing the risk of water damage. The current iPad mini lacks official waterproofing certification. The new iPad mini will feature an OLED display and is scheduled for release no sooner than 2026. The cost of the updated tablet may rise by $100 compared to the current starting price of $499.

Apple is preparing to add support for its digital car key feature to Jetour vehicles. This function enables users to unlock their cars using an iPhone or Apple Watch via the Wallet app. Unlocking occurs by placing the smartphone or watch near the vehicle’s NFC reader. Support for digital car keys has already been implemented by companies such as BMW, Rivian, Kia, Audi, and Hyundai. At the WWDC 2025 event, Apple stated that 13 additional car brands would soon offer iPhone car keys. Chinese automaker Jetour, primarily producing crossovers and SUVs, is a subsidiary of Chery, mentioned among Apple’s new partners. Apple maintains a complete list of supported vehicles on its CarPlay model availability page, although it hasn’t been updated recently and misses several recent additions.

Apple’s Services division recorded revenues of $108.6 billion in the past financial year, marking a 13% increase over the previous period. This exceeds the annual revenue of companies like Disney and Tesla. Revenue from services accounts for approximately a quarter of Apple’s total income and nearly half of its profits. Income is generated through platforms such as App Store, iCloud, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, AppleCare, and Apple Pay. Despite ongoing litigation and regulatory pressures, service revenues continue to grow. Analysts predict that by the end of the decade, services will contribute over 30% of Apple’s total revenue, potentially reaching $175 billion. Smartphones remain a key component, contributing around half of the total revenue ($415 billion).
