Apple Stock News: Apple introduced the new iPhone Air with a thickness of only 5.6 mm, surpassing the previous record holder, the iPhone 6, which had a thickness of 6.9 mm. To check the device’s durability, Apple conducted a test applying pressure equivalent to 130 pounds to the center of the case. The device successfully passed the test, demonstrating its ability to recover shape without residual deformation. The main reason for increased strength is the use of a titanium frame instead of aluminum, which was used in the iPhone 6. Apple claims that the iPhone Air exceeds strict requirements for bending resistance and is the toughest iPhone yet. Additionally, tests were carried out on the ceramic screen coating Ceramic Shield 2 and the drop resistance of the iPhone 17 Pro models, showing positive results. However, independent testing is needed to confirm these statements.

Popular colors include Cosmic Orange for Pro models and Cloud White for iPhone Air. Early pre-orders may receive deliveries on launch day, September 19.

After more than three years, Apple’s Ginza store is returning to its original location in Tokyo. The temporary store in Ginza 8-chōme will close on September 22, while a new permanent store will soon open in Ginza 3-chōme. Although no specific reopening date has been announced, it’s expected to happen in late 2025. To commemorate the event, Apple released a special wallpaper inspired by the iconic Apple logo. The original Ginza store opened in 2003 and marked Apple’s first international retail presence.
