Apple Stock News: Douyin Pay in China

Apple Stock News: Apple is testing Douyin Pay integration into its App Store in China. Launched in January 2021, Douyin Pay enables users to link their bank accounts and make purchases within the app. Upon completing the trial phase, Douyin Pay will be added alongside Alipay, WeChat Pay, and China UnionPay as an option for payments on the App Store in mainland China.
New Design

Apple plans to use TSMC’s WMCM packaging for A20 chips in iPhone 18 series, replacing current InFO technology. Higher-end models like iPhone 18 Pro and foldable version may adopt this first in late 2026, with standard models following later. A20 chips will integrate RAM directly onto the wafer, improving performance and power efficiency. They’ll also be made using TSMC’s advanced 2nm process.
Not Launch

MacBook Pro models with M5 chips may not arrive until 2026, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. High-end M5 chips will retain separate underfill and molding processes. Previous rumors indicated a late 2025 launch, but recent reports suggest a delay to 2026. If possible, it’s recommended to skip these models and wait for future M6-series-equipped MacBook Pros with major updates like OLED displays and thinner designs, potentially launching in early 2027.
