Apple Stock News: Samsung has started producing folding OLED displays for Apple’s first foldable iPhone, scheduled for release next year. Production takes place at the A3 plant in South Korea, capable of manufacturing 15 million 7-inch panels annually. Apple plans to produce six to eight million foldable iPhones in 2026. Samsung signed a two-year contract to supply the displays and will remain a key supplier for at least three years. The new iPhone will feature a 7-inch screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio, thin body (4.5 mm thick), robust hinge mechanism, dual-camera setup, and Touch ID sensor. Its price will exceed $2000.

One Limitation

The iPhone 17 Air is reportedly going to come with an A19 Pro processor featuring a 5-core GPU, providing slightly weaker graphics performance compared to Pro models, though most users probably won’t notice any significant difference. These claims contradict earlier rumors from analysts predicting either a standard A19 or even an A18 chip. Official details will be revealed in autumn when Apple announces the iPhone 17 series.

Upgrade Vision Pro

Apple will release an updated version of Vision Pro this year, powered by the M4 chip, replacing the outdated M2. The strap will be improved for comfort during prolonged use. The next update is planned only for 2027 with the “Vision Air” model, promising reduced weight. Meanwhile, development continues on a Vision Pro version connected to iPhone or Mac, along with smart glasses without augmented reality features, slated for release in 2026.
