Apple Stock News: Apple is developing new processors from the Komodo series (expected M6), Borneo (future M7), and an advanced Sotra chip for upcoming powerful Macs and servers. Server chips under the Baltra project, designed specifically for processing Apple Intelligence queries, are scheduled to be ready by 2027. Additionally, the company is creating specialized chips for smart glasses competing with Meta Ray-Bans, as well as updated AirPods and camera-equipped Apple Watch models, which are set to launch in 2027.
Smart Glasses
Apple is developing a new chip for smart glasses that will compete with Meta Ray-Bans. The glasses will feature cameras, microphones, and built-in AI, offering similar functionalities such as photo and video capture, translations, and object scanning. The chip is based on energy-efficient solutions from Apple Watch. Mass production of the product is planned for 2026-2027.
Foldable iPhone
Apple will release its second foldable iPhone in the second half of 2027, one year after the first generation. This coincides with the 20th anniversary of the iPhone lineup. It was previously reported that along with the second generation, the company will introduce a new premium iPhone Pro model with improved use of glass.
