Apple Stock News: Apple’s First Robots for Mass Production

Apple Stock News: Apple is developing robots for the smart home, but their release is only possible after 2028. Previously, a lamp-robot with realistic movements was created, and a project for a desktop robot with an iPad-like screen controlled via Siri is also being discussed.
Ultra-Thin Glass

Apple is stepping up efforts on its first foldable device by sourcing ultra-thin glass (UTG) from suppliers like Chinese firm Lens Technology, which will handle about 70% of orders. Lens Technology excels in mass-producing and strengthening UTG, while Corning may provide raw materials. South Korea’s Dowoo Insys and UTI might serve as secondary suppliers. Samsung Display is tipped to exclusively supply foldable panels. Analysts predict a launch in late 2026 or early 2027.
Acquisition

Apple has completed the acquisition of Pixelmator, which was announced last year. Pixelmator is a well-known image and photo editing app that competes with Photoshop and other Adobe image editing tools, while focusing on ease of use and performance. The apps are exclusive to Apple’s platforms. The Pixelmator Pro, Pixelmator for iOS, and Photomator apps have been updated with a new splash screen confirming the deal. For now, no changes have been made to the applications, but in the future, they may be integrated into iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
