Apple Stock News: New iPad Pro

Apple Stock News: Apple will release a new iPad Pro model this year, but the changes will be minor. Both the 11-inch and 13-inch versions will be updated. Component production will be handled by LX Semicon, starting in April-May. The devices’ appearance will remain unchanged, with no significant design modifications anticipated.
According to Mark Gurman’s information, the new M5 chip may appear in the iPad Pro by the end of 2025 or early 2026. The current version of the iPad Pro with an OLED screen and M4 chip was released in May 2024. Additionally, new models of the iPad Air and basic iPad 11 are expected to be released this year, with a launch planned for March-April. Leaks suggest that the iPad 11 will feature an A17 Pro processor and 8 GB of RAM, while the iPad Air will come with an M3 chip. There are no plans to update the iPad mini this year, as it is usually refreshed infrequently.
A18 Chip for iPhone SE 4

The upcoming fourth-generation iPhone SE is expected to use the A18 chip, based on a reliable source on social media platform X. This aligns with previous reports from 9to5Mac. Additionally, the next iPad Air models are rumored to feature the M3 chip, while the iPad 11 is now believed to have an A16 chip rather than the earlier-speculated A17 Pro.
Rumors suggest the new iPhone SE will be announced by March or April, featuring a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, USB-C port, a 48-megapixel rear camera, and Apple’s first custom 5G modem. Combined with 8GB of RAM, the device should support Apple Intelligence. Compared to the current iPhone SE with an A15 Bionic chip, the A18 represents a substantial improvement. However, a slight price increase is anticipated for the new model.
Third Place in China

In the fourth quarter of 2024, Apple saw a significant drop in iPhone sales in China, falling from first to third place in the market. Shipments decreased by 18.2%, resulting in a 17.1% market share, trailing behind Huawei (18.1%) and Xiaomi (17.2%). Factors contributing to this decline include increased competition from local brands and the absence of Apple Intelligence in China. Meanwhile, Huawei’s growth was driven by AI features in its flagship devices. Despite challenges, Apple remained the third-largest smartphone brand in China.
