Apple Stock News: Apple will present its report for 2025 on January 30th. CEO Tim Cook and new CFO Kevan Parekh will discuss the results of the 2024 holiday quarter, including sales of new iPad mini, Mac mini, MacBook Pro, and iMac models. Former CFO Luca Maestri now holds the position of Vice President of Corporate Services. In the first quarter of 2024, Apple’s revenue amounted to 119.6 billion, with a net profit of 33.9 billion. Moderate income growth is expected.

Apple CEO Tim Cook intends to donate $1 million to Donald Trump’s inauguration. This is a personal contribution from Cook, not from Apple itself. Previously, Cook congratulated Trump via social media and met with him over dinner. Sources say the donation is being made “in the spirit of unity.” Currently, Apple is under regulatory pressure in the U.S. and other countries, including an ongoing lawsuit filed by the U.S. Department of Justice in March 2024. Other companies supporting Trump’s inaugural fund include Amazon, Meta, Uber, OpenAI, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Coinbase, Toyota, Ford, GM, AT&T, Black & Decker, and Charter Communications.
iPhone 16E
Apple is likely to release the fourth generation iPhone SE in March, but there are rumors that it might be called the iPhone 16E. However, the exact form of the name is still unknown – it could be iPhone 16E, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 with the letter E inside a square, or simply iPhone 16 SE. According to rumors, the new phone will resemble the basic version of the iPhone 14 with a 6.1-inch OLED screen, Face ID, a USB-C port, a 48-megapixel camera, the latest A-series chip, and 8 GB of RAM for Apple Intelligence, as well as the first 5G modem from Apple.
It’s not yet known if the device will feature an action button like the one found on the iPhone 15 Pro. The current iPhone SE, released in March 2022, has an outdated design with a Touch ID button, a Lightning connector, and thick frames around the screen. Its price in the US starts at $429, but a small increase in cost is expected for the new model.
