Apple Stock News: Lauch Confirmation
Apple Stock News: Barclays analyst Tom O’Malley and his colleagues recently visited Asia where they met with various electronics manufacturers. They confirmed that the fourth generation iPhone SE with Apple’s own 5G modem will be released by the end of the first quarter of next year. It is expected that the device will have a similar design to the basic iPhone 14 model, including a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, the latest A-series chip, a USB-C port, a single 48-megapixel rear camera, and 8 GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence. Apple has been developing its own 5G modem since 2018 to reduce dependence on Qualcomm.
To Space
Last week, Apple unveiled a new iPhone 16 Pro ad titled “All Systems Pro” on its YouTube channels in Japan, India, South Korea, and Singapore, but hasn’t published it on its American channel yet. The ad showcases the preparation for launching the iPhone 16 Pro into space, focusing on the readiness check of the A18 Pro chip, which boasts an enhanced neural engine, a 6-core GPU, and supports 4K slow-motion video recording at 120 frames per second. Apple claims that the A18 Pro chip is 15% faster than its predecessor and is manufactured using TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process.
Investment in Indonesia
Apple has increased its proposed investment in Indonesia to $100 million, aiming to persuade authorities to lift the ban on iPhone 16 sales. These funds are intended to support the development of smartphone research and production within the country. The ban was imposed due to non-compliance with local production requirements.
