Apple Stock News: Supply of the iPhone 14 Pro is Still Severely Constrained

(Source: Trusted Reviews)

Apple Stock News: According to MacRumors, as the holidays draw nearer, it is unlikely that the supply of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models would be enough to satisfy American demand. The dangerously low supply of the iPhone 14 Pro was caused by supply bottlenecks and continued restrictions in Apple’s manufacturing facilities. One month ago, the wait times for high-end 2022 iPhone models were set at about six weeks; they are now set at about three weeks. On the other hand, several other goods, such as iPads, Macs, less expensive iPhone models, Air Pods, and more, are still accessible to clients who are shopping for the holidays this year.

According to MacRumors, by 2026, Apple hopes to introduce a consumer-focused vehicle under the Apple brand. To appeal to a wider variety of consumers, Apple wants to price the vehicle under $100,000. Tesla, a company that offers electric vehicles with partial self-driving capabilities, is likely to be Apple’s main rival. If the starting price of the Apple Car is at or around $100,000, it will go up against Tesla’s more expensive Model S. Apple is expecting to have a design for the Apple Car set by 2023 and a list of features ready to launch by 2024, but the company has not yet finalized a design. Testing will start in 2025, with a launch scheduled for 2026.

Apple Will Purchase Arizona-Made TSMC Chips

According to MacRumors, Apple intends to buy semiconductors from Arizona-based TSMC manufacturers that are situated in the United States. All the chips used in Apple’s iPhones, iPads, Macs, and other products are produced by TSMC. Chips are now mostly produced in Taiwan, but as Apple looks to transfer more production here, TSMC is constructing two plants in Arizona. The first factory will open in 2024, and the second in 2026, according to TSMC’s $40 billion budget. When it debuts in 2024, one of TSMC’s factories in Arizona will start making 4-nanometer chips. Apple will use about a third of the 20,000 wafers produced by TSMC each month.

Apple Might Begin Producing in India

According to MacRumors, in an effort to reduce its dependency on China, Apple is thinking about producing some of its iPads in India. Although there are currently no “specific plans” in place, Apple is eager to increase manufacturing in nations other than China. Discussions are ongoing in this regard. By 2025, Apple is reportedly planning to build about 25% of its iPhones in India. Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro versions are currently hard to come by. Apple has come under fire for its dependency on China, which will be a significant problem in 2022 due to the country’s continued COVID-19 lockdowns and the escalating tensions between the United States and China. Apple is requesting that its vendors “prepare more actively” to produce iPhones in other nations.
