According to MacRumors, Apple’s M2 Pro and M2 Max chips are expected to be used in the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, but Apple has reduced its fourth-quarter MacBook Pro shipment forecast by 20% to 30%, because of signs of a recession, fewer people working from home and limited new selling points. New iPad and Mac models are likely to be the centerpiece of an Apple event in October, although it’s unclear if the new MacBook Pro models will be unveiled at that event or later.
