Apple Stock News: Apple’s Chips, Self Service Repair, Wi-Fi 6E

Apple Prepares to Launch Its Own Chips

Apple Stock News: According to MacRumors, Qualcomm CFO Akash Palkhiwala said the company expects to supply only 20 percent of Apple’s modem chips in 2023. If this is an accurate estimate, it means that 2022 will be the last year that Qualcomm has a modem monopoly on iPhone devices.

Over the years, Apple tried to get rid of the control of Qualcomm’s modem chips. Apple tried to develop its own in-house modem chips and buy Intel’s modem chip business. Analysts predict that Apple’s 5G baseband chip could make its debut in the 2023 iPhone models.

Apple has announced that Self Service Repair will be coming soon

Apple announced the launch of its self-repair service, which means customers who are comfortable with completing their own repairs can use genuine Apple parts and tools in their self-repair service. The self-repair service will be launched in the US early next year and expand to more countries in 2022.
