Apple’s biggest event of the year is its World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC), where it typically announces updates to its software and new products. This year, the event will start on June 8, with a keynote address being given that day at 10 a.m. PST. After the keynote, thousands of developers will attend sessions with Apple employees to learn how to develop better apps for Apple products, and two big products are slated to be released.

The two products set to be released during the conference this year are a streaming music service that will be based on Beats Music and a new Apple TV box. The streaming service will be powered by Apple’s acquisition of Beats last year for $3 billion. Apple is using this acquisition to will compete with others like Spotify and Tidal, and is rumored to work on Android phones. This new service will address decreased music sales from the iTunes store.

The new Apple TV box, which will be updated for the first time since March 2012, will have a new interface and will allow developers to create apps for it. It is also rumored to have a new remote with a touchpad, although it is not yet clear if Apple will reveal its ambitions for providing a streaming television package as an alternative to cable. Besides the new products, the company will also introduce updates to its operating systems for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers.
