Apple Stock News: Apple’s 5.5-inch iPhone may be called the iPhone 6L
It is no secret now that Apple has been working on a large-screened iPhone 6. New rumors indicate that Apple could even make the large size part of the device’s name: the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 may be called the iPhone 6L. It is still unclear what the name of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will be.
The Hong Kong-based site Apple Daily has also posted photos of what it claims to be components of the new iPhone 6. They show that the iPhone 6 will include a major battery boost: the iPhone 6L will have a 2,915 milliamp-hour (mAh) battery while the 4.7-inch model’s will be 1,810 mAh, according to the report.
The new iPhones will certainly have faster chips and run iOS 8. The 5.5-inch iPhone 6 will likely have a battery life that is as good as or even better than the battery life offered by similar Android devices.
